Chris and Bethany met in the fall of 2008 at the University of Evansville, when they were both studying music and living in Moore Hall. They dated during Bethany’s sophomore and Chris’ junior year. They reconnected in 2020 and have been inseparable ever since!

Chris proposed on December 13, 2025 at the Carmel Christkindlmarkt, in the middle of the cold and snow! Chris disguised it as a date without the kids and it was a big surprise!
