Answer

Please RSVP by January 31, 2026. The dinner reception will begin at 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Kindly RSVP by the deadline to ensure we can reserve your seat and dinner. We will only be able to accommodate guests who respond by the deadline. Thank you for your understanding!

What is the attire for the wedding?What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

We kindly request formal attire for our wedding day. Examples for ladies are long gowns and floor-length dresses. Examples for gentlemen are suits and tuxedos. Please avoid jeans, shorts, sundresses, sneakers, flip flops, or casual attire. We'd love for our guests to wear any color that makes them feel their best - we only ask that you kindly refrain and avoid wearing any shades of red, white, maroon/burgundy, and gold, as these colors are reserved for the bride and wedding party only. While you're welcome to explore beyond the list below, here are a few seasonal color suggestions with deeper tones that complement our theme - such as dark green, navy blue, rich purple, gray, or black.

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be a traditional Catholic wedding located at the address below. The mass service will begin at 2:00PM sharp, however, we kindly ask guests to arrive by 1:30PM to allow time for seating. St. Angela Merici Catholic Church 9009 Sienna Ranch Rd, Missouri City, TX 77459

Answer

The wedding reception will begin at 6PM at the address below. It will be at a separate location from where the Mass/Ceremony will be. Chartres by Garzas 401 Pennsylvania St, South Houston, TX 77587

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the mass service and reception will be indoors. Our wedding is on the last day of February which means it can either be 40 degrees or 80 degrees in Houston! Please dress appropriately as there could be moments in which we may take outdoor photos if the weather permits.

Answer

We can't wait to celebrate with you! Please note that transportation between the church and the reception location will be provided to the bridal party only. We kindly ask guests to arrange their transportation between the church and reception locations.

There is a time gap between the ceremony and reception. What should I do?There is a time gap between the ceremony and reception. What should I do?

Answer

During this time gap, the bride and groom will be taking pictures with the bridal party. Our guests can kill time by going home or to their hotel to freshen up or eat a light snack/appetizer before dinner at 6:00PM.

Answer

The mass will begin at 2:00PM sharp and roughly end at 3:00PM. Family and friend photos will be taken after the mass ceremony. More photos will be taken during the reception.

The dinner reception will start at 6:00PM and end at 8:00PM follwed by the dance until 1:00 AM.

Answer

Yes! Guests are welcome to arrive at the venue location from 5PM - 6PM to enjoy drinks and socializing with other guests, followed by a dinner at 6PM.

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. However, teenagers 15 and up, will be welcome to celebrate with us if indicated on the guest list. We hope you'll join us for an evening of food, laughter, and dancing!

Yes, no payment will be needed to purchase drinks.

The presentation will begin roughly at 8:00PM and end at 9:30PM.

Yes! Our dance will begin at 8:00PM - 1:00 AM. We hope to see you dancing all night with us!

Both the mass and reception will be bilingual in both Spanish and English.

What type of seating arrangement is planned for the ceremony and reception?What type of seating arrangement is planned for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The bridal party and those participating in the church/mass will have seating arrangements at the Church. If you are not part of the bridal party, you are welcome to sit anywhere. Traditionally, at the church ceremony, the groom's family will sit on the right side and the bride's family will sit on the left side. For the reception, we will have a seating chart upon arrival at the reception location.

Yes absolutely! Please note that our wedding will include some cultural and traditional customs that are specific to our families and our heritage. We're excited to share these beautiful traditions with you and appreciate your love and respect as we honor them.

Yes, there will be free parking at both the church and venue/reception locations.

Answer

We did not want to limit guests on where to stay, and therefore, we will not be having a hotel block. But, there are plenty of great places to stay nearby! Kindly check out our suggested hotel options in the "Travel" section of our website.
