We're getting married

We started dating when we were 15 years old. Our first date was to the cinema to watch Fast and Furious followed by a trip to the park, where he swung me round so fast on the roundabout, that I plummeted off right onto my face. (Can't believe he ever wanted to see me again after that, although at least it had Alfie in fits of laughter.) I used to go and watch Alfie play rugby every Sunday, and he once cycled an hour in the snow to come and visit me. Covid hit and we didn't see each other at all for 3 months, although we spoke for hours on the phone every day. He surprised me on my driveway after covid was lifted. After that, we used to meet every weekend at the park in order to be able to see each other. Fast forward 5 years and Alfie proposed on the 5th October 2024 and we booked our wedding venue not long after as we both fell in love when we went to visit, and it is everything and more than we could have ever imagined.
