Alex and Bethany were both looking for a roommate in Kansas City and first started talking through a roommate app. Though they didn't end up being roommates (that could have been awkward!), they did meet up a few weeks later to watch a Chiefs game. Little did they know, they would hit it off and end up being forever roommates. They've been watching Cheifs games and enjoying life together ever since!

Alex is an engineer who likes building things, being outdoors and barbecuing. Bethany likes plants, country music and days spent on the lake. Professionally, Alex is a mechanical engineer for Kiewet Engineering and is currently working on a project site in Florida. Bethany is a Life Scientist for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Together, Bethany and Alex enjoy traveling, camping, Mexican food and star gazing. They have spent many weekends over the last year remodeling their home. Construction zone and all, they've really enjoyed hosting family and friends! Almost everyone who visits is treated to Alex's world-famous chicken fried steak. Alex hails from Salina, Kansas and went to the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. Bethany is from Atkinson, Nebraska. After attending the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Bethany served in the Peace Corps in Zambia. She then lived in Washington, D.C. for a couple of years before relocating to Kansas City. Bethany and Alex now live near Eudora, Kansas.
