Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

They are both taking place at Townsend Park. The ceremony will be held in front of the creek and the reception will be in the pavilion right next to it.

What is the timeline for the day?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 1 PM on Saturday September 25th. It should be 30-45 minutes. There will be an interlude between the ceremony and reception for pictures, which should be 60-75 minutes. Then the reception dinner. We have the park until 7:30

Are kids welcome?

Yes! Kids are welcome. Ours will be there, and if they are being too much of a handful, send them to the playground that is right next to the reception site ;)

What will the weather be like this time of year?

It will probably be pretty warm, but this is Michigan so it wouldn't be a bad idea to wear layers in case it is cold.

The ceremony will be outdoors, the reception indoors.

If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

There is free parking near the ceremony site, with limited handicap parking.

You are welcome to take pictures at the reception, however Tony and I would ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony.

What if I want to donate my services to the cause instead of give a gift?

You are more than welcome to help with the wedding, let the bride know and she will put you to work!

Will last names be changing after the wedding?

Yes, Bethann will be changing her last name to Tony's.

Where should I stay?

If you are coming from out of town and need a place to stay for the night, please contact the bride to see what can be arranged. Unfortunately we do not have hotel rooms or a discounted rate.

You can do either, there will be a table to put gifts on.

Will there be COVID restrictions/measures?

At this time we are hoping that there will not be any restrictions due to COVID, with any luck most people will be vaccinated by the time of the wedding. Of course we will do everything we can to ensure everyone's safety. If anything changes we will let you all know.
