Dress to impress! The more creative and fun your outfit the better, however please take into account: - The venue is a historical cemetery and woodland and on a very steep hill, sensible shoes are best! - We are celebrating with a Cèilidh so make sure you are dressed to take part in lots of dancing! - Our colour theme is black, burgundy, dark green and golds. We want to pay homage to the Victorian gothic woodland setting. If you want to wear something that fits that theme, please go ahead!

Arnos Vale is a beautiful Victorian Cemetery located in the heart of Bristol and set in 45 acres of woodland. One of our favourite things to do together is explore old cemeteries and churchyards, and we are so excited to share this experience with you all on our wedding day! Parking is limited on site, so we recommend you leave your cars behind if possible.

After the ceremony, we will celebrate with cocktails and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea. (One of our favourite things!) In the evening, we have a pizza van arriving so you can help yourself as you please in between dancing!

Cèilidh

Answer

A Cèilidh is a traditional Celtic dance party. It features a live band playing folk music, with everyone taking part in the dancing. No experience is needed, as there is a “Caller” who tells you exactly what to do and when to do it. Don’t worry about looking silly or getting it wrong- that’s half the fun!
