Beth and Emma have know each other since middle school and have been best friends ever since. When Beth moved back to Salt Lake City, Emma was the first to see the home Beth and Russell ended up buying, as she lived right up the street! Today, even though Emma is living her best life in California, it almost feels like she never left as she comes back to Utah to stay with Beth and Russell almost monthly.

Russell met Jackson early his freshmen year at Cal Poly by complete happenstance. They became fast friends spending countless hours surfing, devouring post-surf burritos, and making friends with the local sea life - otters included. They continually discover new mutual interests; particularly how much the both dislike the Golden Knights.

Friends since middle school when Brooke's family moved to Park City and roommates in Los Angeles, Beth and Brooke have been through it all! Now living just a few minutes apart, wine nights with lots of laughs happen often!

Brett and Russell became very close friends when Russell moved into the infamous "Drake House." Brett introduced him to bluegrass music and the delicious combo of veggie burgers, hummus, avocado, and sriracha. To this day, Russell continues to softball ideas to get Brett to relocate to Salt Lake City.

Started as co-workers and quickly became close friends, Beth and Jill often joke that they talk more to each other than they do to their significant others. They often have conversations on their work Slack, Instagram messenger, and texting simultaneously, usually regarding the latest Bravo and Real Housewife drama.

Erik was a fellow member of the Industrial Technology program with Russell at Cal Poly. Although they became friends through different classes and clubs, their friendship was truly solidified when they decided it was a good idea to split 6 bottles of "Two Buck Chuck" for a wine bottle packaging project instead of just pouring it out. They continue to make those same mistakes doing whiskey tastings via Zoom.
Morgan Enger

Morgan and Beth have been friends since infancy. They were inseparable in their childhood, often playing with American Girl dolls and obsessing over The Spice Girls. They were reunited when the two moved to Salt Lake City at the same time, fortuitously in the same neighborhood.
Justin Enger

Justin was one of the first friends Russell made after moving to SLC. They spent dozens of hours fly fishing the Weber and Provo rivers; and in all that time likely only ate a single Snickers bar. Although Russell is sad about Justin's relocation to Missoula, he takes solace knowing he can now fish famous Montana waters without having to spend money on a hotel room.

Friends since elementary school, Beth and AnnaBelle became reunited when Beth moved back to Salt Lake City. The two spend as much time as possible camping together with their significant others and all the dogs!

Sometimes the trope "our girlfriends are friends and so are we" actually generates true friendship. Tim is one of Russell's closest friends since moving to Utah. They enjoy attempting to golf together and talking about how bad the other is at golf.

Reese and Beth were complete strangers when they met Halloween night at a bar in 2019. After bonding over shared interests they remained friends through the COVID quarantine and now enjoy camping with their dogs, learning to golf, and watching Bravo.

As cousins, Derek and Russell spent a lot of time being hooligans the desert to kill time during family events. Russell was so excited to hear that Derek and his family were moving to SLC so they could continue the trend of being hooligans in the desert - and mountains, lakes, and rivers.

Beth cannot wait to have a sister of her own when she marries Russell. Chloe is Russell's older sister and lives in Long Beach, California. Beth and Chloe share a love of Las Vegas, reality TV, camping, and wine!

Although Jack will become Russell's brother-in-law as of 1/1/23, Russell already considers him a brother. Russell is so excited for a lifetime of exploration with Jack and can't wait for their future adventures.
Katy Chapel

Katy and her husband, Josh, were some of the first people Beth introduced Russell to. Beth moved to Los Angeles after college because that's where Katy, her cousin, lived. When Beth and Russell began dating the two realized that Russell lived only a few blocks from Katy. The four had many rambunctious LA nights, and after Beth and Russell moved to Salt Lake City in 2017, Katy and Josh jumped on board and moved to Park City in 2020. Beth and Russell are thrilled to have Katy officiating their wedding!!
