We met through the Facebook Dating app! Each of us posted a profile on the site when it went live in January 2020. We met for Jazz at Fire on February 5, 2020. We discovered we shared many interests and we were both convinced we belonged together on our third date---Classic Albums Lives performed Led Zepplin I at Hard Rock Live in Orlando. Little did we know, but COVID-19 hit 6 weeks after our first date. During the "stay at home" orders, Randy dined at Beth's house almost every night. Those dinners, plus the time spent sitting and talking, drew us together solidly and quickly had we dated in "normal" circumstances. Randy informally proposed to Beth in June. He formally proposed July 25th when he placed the engagement ring on Beth's finger. The wedding is schedule for one year plus one day after their first date!
