May in Armidale is quite cool. The maximum is unlikely to be more than 20, even on a sunny day. Once the sun goes down the temperature will drop down to approximately 2 degrees. Please ensure you bring a jacket or shawl. There will be fireplaces and heaters inside the venue.
The rainy day alternative will be undercover on the front steps of Petersons.
Children are welcome to attend the ceremony but we ask that they leave shortly after. While we love your little ones, our wedding reception is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
No. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. If you wish to bless us with a gift we would greatly appreciate a contribution to our wishing well.
The ceremony will be held in the gardens at Petersons. The reception will be in the main homestead.
There will be canapés and a grazing table available after the ceremony while the bridal party are having photos. Dinner will be a buffet meal with cake served shortly after. Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #bethandmitchgethitched so we can keep track of all of your pictures! Please note that the ceremony will be ‘unplugged’ and we ask that you keep your phones away during this time.
No transport will be provided. Petersons is approximately 5 minutes from Armidale. We recommend organising maxi taxis to and from the venue.
Yes, unfortunately the current restrictions mean we cannot have all our guests seated in the main hall for the reception. The reception hall is split into three sections. While we can have a maximum of 70 people within the space, guests will need to be divided across the rooms. There will be marshals there to help guide guests on the night. We will provide a COVID-19 update closer to the date.
