We can't wait till you can come and celebrate with us!

We met on August 23, 2001 through mutual friends at the Applebee's that was on Nicholasville Road in Lexington, KY. We remained good friends for about 5 years and then lost touch. Our lives went separate ways and during those years Iliana, Cruz, Sam, and Eleanor entered the world. We found each other again in August of 2018 (after Beth ignored JP's Facebook message), but we reconnected, and it was like time never passed. We had our first date on October 5, 2018 at El Nopal in Louisville, KY and we wondered what took us so long to be together. We spent the next 3 1/2 years living 70 miles a part and navigating raising teenagers and pre-teens on our own. On September 4, 2021, JP surprised Beth with an engagement ring at dinner at Rodneys on Broadway in Georgetown, KY and of course she said yes. Since then, they have bought a house and moved in together and are combining their lives and families into one. Everyone is surviving living together and planning a wedding. We are pretty sure if we can make it through this, we can make it through anything. Please join us to celebrate our marriage that has been literally 20 years in the making. It's going to be awesome.
