Our story really begins up north in Lily, Wisconsin. We stayed in the shack, hunting and fishing along the Wolf River at Joey's grandparent's, Norm and Edith's property. Joey introduced Beth to his life: the great outdoors. Beth's first ever hunting experience, in Target winter boots was truly unforgettable, and somehow in -19 degree weather, she was hooked. Joey has since taught Beth to fish and hunt and some would arguably say she is better than he is now. It wasn't until Joey saw a wolf while hunting that Beth realized how much he meant to her. Sometimes it takes the possibility of someone being attacked by a pack of wolves to fall in love. Whether it's hunting or helping each other build our dreams, we realized how strong of a team we are when we work together. Joey and Beth built a foundation of friendship that has blossomed into a love that withstands all. We are so excited to officially start our journey as husband and wife!

While on a road trip in the Smoky Mountains, Joey and Beth climbed to the top of the highest lookout point in Smoky Mountain National Park where you could see for miles and miles... Just kidding, Beth was too crabby that day, but it would've been the perfect spot right?! When Beth was in a better mood later that night, she and Joey were alone on the porch while the sun was setting. He looked over and said, "Hey Elizabeth, will you marry me?" After some discussion including, "Are you kidding me?" Beth said, "Yes!"
