We first met as neighborhood kids when we were toddlers (we even have old photos together!), but attended different grade schools. We reconnected in high school as teenagers, & quickly became a couple. Although we both chose Indiana University two years later, college took us down different paths. When we reconnected for a second time after college, we both knew it was for the long haul!

5 years later, after living in our first apartment together in West Loop, Chicago, Jeff convinced Beth to take a long walk to Oak Street Beach to meet his family for a Thanksgiving weekend brunch. Since it was unseasonably warm for late November, Beth happily agreed. When we reached the beach, Jeff walked Beth over to the empty gazebo. Beth turned her back to take a picture of the water, and when she turned back around, Jeff was on one knee - he popped the big question! All our closest family & friends joined soon after to celebrate the proposal, and it became a day neither of us would ever forget. We can't wait for 4.21.2018! Beth & Jeff
