Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible. If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP 'Not attending' so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we're only able to accomodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one, they'll be specifically named on your invitation and will be available for you to RSVP for on the website. Thank you for your understanding.

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We look forward to celebrating with you and we love your little ones however, our ceremony and reception will be an adults-only event so please plan ahead.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

For day guests, please arrive at the venue from 1.30pm. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm, so we kindly request that you arrive 30 minutes early to make sure you don't miss anything. For evening guests, please arrive from 6.30pm. Celebrations will be wrapping up at 11.30pm and all guests will need to leave the site by midnight.

Are the ceremony & reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes, both will take place at Sprivers Mansion. We're hoping for an outdoor ceremony and drinks reception if the weather is right! The remainder of the day will take place in a marquee.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress to impress in your best formal or cocktail attire. Gentlemen are requested to wear a suit and tie. No jeans/denim please.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We would love for our guests to be fully present when we say 'I do' so during the ceremony we ask for no phones or cameras and to leave this to the professionals to capture this moment for us. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like.

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

We will be providing transportation for our guests to and from the venue if you will be staying at the Mercure Hotel. If you are not staying here or would prefer to arrange your own, the venue has recommended using MTC or Streamline taxi's.

Where should we park?

Answer

If you are driving, there is a car park at the venue and cars can be left on site over night until midday the following day.

A note on gifts

Answer

We hope you can join us in celebrating our marriage! Please know that your presence is the best gift you could provide. Please do not feel obligated to give anything else. But should you feel inclined, we are very much looking forward to a honeymoon and any contribution towards that will be sincerely appreciated.
