McCall is on the ancestral homelands of the Nimiipuu people, and we are grateful to live in a place that has been under their stewardship since time immemorial. We are excited to share some of our favorite things to do in this place with you and continue to steward the lands and waters that are essential to all our wellbeing. Enjoy!

Hike or Mountain Bike in this popular state park, or drive up to scenic Osprey Point for awesome lake views. State park pass or day pass required.

North Beach

North Beach

Crowded in the summer, but peaceful in the fall! A great place to spot a moose and soak up the sun. Paddleboard or canoe up the “meanders” from here. State park pass or day pass required.

Louie Lake 2.8 miles out and back, a local favorite with a good bang for your buck Snowslide Lake 4.6 miles out and back, really steep and really beautiful

Visit Burgdorf Hot Springs or Gold Fork Hot Springs, both a great day trip from McCall. Both springs charge a soaking fee and require vaccination cards.

McCall Golf Club (three, nine-hole courses) and Jug Mountain Ranch (nine-hole course) are open, weather depending. Please call or ask Beth’s dad for details.

Grab a cocktail at “The Bar” at Shore Lodge and take in one of the best views in McCall. Check out the Salmon River Brewery (SRB) and try Beth’s favorite Big Swingin’ T Pale Ale or Ian’s favorite Nutty Ambro Amber Ale.
