Yes! We wanted to get legally married before the incoming administration, and we got lucky enough to do it in style, with 6 other couples. In September, we'd like to celebrate and spend some quality time with our nearest and dearest! It won't be any less special just because we already share health insurance ;)
The easiest way to get to the venue is by public transit. The closest train stop is Green Street, or you can take the 39 or 41 bus route. For those of you who aren't used to the MBTA, we invite you to take this as a fun adventure! We love public transit. If you are coming by car, we recommend taking a taxi or Uber. There is limited street parking.
Snazzy! Wear whatever makes you feel nice! We anticipate that most guests will be wearing cocktail or semi-formal attire, but there will be a range of interpretations. If in doubt, feel free to text us - we love talking outfit inspo (yes, even Hollis)!
Are we two brides? Bride and groom? New spouses? Beth is a bride! Specifically gendered words aren't very important to Hollis, but "newlywed" or "groom" fits better than bride. As long as you're being nice to everyone, you can't go wrong!
