In order to maintain safety amongst all of our guests, the bride & groom have put into place the following safety measures: 1. All guest temperatures will be checked upon arrival. 2. Masks & hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the event. 3. Guests will have the option to spread out amongst the pews outside during the wedding ceremony. 4. Guests may choose to sit outdoors, distanced from others during the reception for dinner. 5. For guests who choose to stay in the barn for the reception, several chairs will intentionally be left open to assist with social distancing measures during dinner. 6. Both, men's & women's restrooms, will be close by with soap & water that will remained stocked throughout the event. Other safety measures: Simply Catering arrives equipped with their own safety guidelines, which includes, but not limited to: -Staff will serve guests with masks & gloves at all times. -No staff member will handle any plates or utensils that belong to guests during the reception.
Due to the current safety issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been in constant prayer and believe the wisest decision is to move our wedding celebration with friends and family to December 05, 2020. Your health and safety is of upmost importance, and we sincerely hope you will choose to attend the celebration in December. We plan to be legally married on May 09, 2020, but we know our ceremony will not be the same without the presence and support of our friends and family. We plan to hold a marriage ceremony and celebration at a date that will be safe for everyone in attendance. The 5:00pm ceremony at the Barn at Oak Manor will remain the same on December 05th. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions. Thank you for your prayer and support during this time. -Beth & Grey
On the day of Beth & Grey's first date, Grey jokingly told a coworker he was going to meet up with his future wife. He had no idea that his statement was foreshadowing what would come 3 years later. The first date was so much fun. Grey made his way to Beth's heart through Mexican food &, her now favorite, Jeni's Ice Cream. A few months later, Beth received a phone call that broke her heart. As tears began to run down her face, Grey pulled the car over, hugged her, & cried with her. This would be the night that they would say “I love you” for the first time. Beth has always said, “I may have been the one to say “I love you” first, but Grey was the first one to display love through his actions.” More months passed, & Beth & Grey began realizing some personality differences. Grey, a Type A, task-oriented, young professional would drive Beth crazy with his to-do lists, while Beth, a Type-B, people-oriented, ministry worker would drive Grey crazy by floating through life. In the midst of it all, they realized they had some very important things in common; their love for God, & their love for laughter. They learned that God could use their personality differences to make the other person better. Today, they remain excited to allow God to sanctify them by learning to love through their differences. While they learn how to navigate a relationship with someone so different, you can always catch Beth & Grey laughing with one another. In fact, if you ever spend time with these two, you’re guaranteed a night full of laughter! Since 2016, Beth & Grey have learned that it’s not about finding the right person, it’s about being the right person. Together, they’ve faced some of the best times as well as some of the worst times in life, & neither would trade a day of it for anything else. They’re so excited to start this journey to become better together for God’s kingdom. Learning to live & love selflessly will not always be easy, but they are excited for the journey.
