Will there be a ceremony?

This is a "reception only" party! We will begin the festivities at 5:30 pm with a cocktail hour.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Please come dressed for a fun night out in the North Carolina summer! The venue is mostly indoors and the garden area is paved, so high heels are fine.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The venue offers complimentary valet parking for all guests. The Cookery is also located less than a mile from both of our hotels, so we encourage a quick Uber ride if you plan to enjoy the open bar!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation indicates your name "and Guest," then you are welcome to bring a date. Otherwise, please plan to attend on your own!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Absolutely. Since our dinner is family style, please reach out to our wedding planner with your dietary restrictions: emily@emilyizak.com. There will be options provided for vegetarian guests.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are fortunate to have all that we need for our home together. In lieu of a registry, we will be setting up donation links to a couple of charities. Please stay tuned!

Question

Will you be providing shuttle transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

We will be providing a complimentary shuttle bus for guests staying at our two wedding hotels. The shuttle bus will be available upon request throughout the evening, and will pick up guests from the Hilton Garden Inn at 5 pm, and the Durham Hotel at 5:15 pm. The Cookery is very close to both hotels (less than a mile), so an Uber or Lyft will also be very cheap!
