Welcome to our wedding!

All because of the Redskins! We met through a Facebook group for our beloved football team the Washington Redskins/Football Team/Commanders. I ( Beth) always take a Game Day Ready picture before each game and normally post it just to my timeline. This one particular Sunday I decided to share it on a few of the fan groups I am in and well, as they say, that’s all she wrote. He slid right into my DM’s. We talked off and on about football and events happening in the world but we didn’t speak all the time. The team brought us together every week and speaking once a week lead to everyday, which lead to US.

Decisions had already been made and moves were being executed. I had already put in my notice at work and had an end date and had already been hired at Loudon County Public School’s. The move to Virginia was happening. I asked for Super Bowl weekend off so we (Brodie our dog) and I could spend it with Dominque and off we went to VA. After hanging out with the family for awhile Dominque disappeared. He sent our nephew Xavier to find me and ask me to come to his room. I walked into the room and he was sitting on his bed and said I know we don’t really do Valentines Day but here and hands me a book. It’s a scrape book! He had printed out pictures of us and wrote something on each page, like our first NFL game and first WWE wrestling event, etc. and on the last page it said will you marry me? I look up and he is holding the ring box, I start to cry and say yes.
