Maid of Honor
Laura and I have been like sisters our entire lives. We've spent countless family vacations together, including weekends Up North where one of us (me) would always end up sun burned, and adventures around the country (and world) exploring new things and trying not to drown white-water rafting. Laura's been my partner in crime for country music concerts and late nights drinking wine and laughing until it hurts, and knows me better than almost anyone. On August 3rd, Laura will be celebrating her sixth wedding anniversary, where I stood by her side while she said her vows to Bobby, and I can't think of anyone I'd rather have next to me while I get to do the same with Chris!
Best Man
David and I have been best friends since high school, and almost every great story i have involves him in some way. From our first apartment as college freshmen, to the tough times of family losses, and the time we mistakenly went to a family festival in Dothan thinking it was a beer festival that was taking place on dolphin island, David has always been there. While deployed overseas, I always looked forward to our conversations and although it was 3 am during a week day in the States and the satellite phones delayed our responses by 30 to 45 seconds, he never missed a call. I am so lucky to have him stand by my side as my brother and best man.
Bridesmaid
While Chris has been lucky enough to know Ashley for her entire life, but she and I became fast friends after my first trip down to Alabama. To say it was overwhelming would be an understatement, but Ashley made sure I always had good conversation and a glass full of wine. Since then, she's become an amazing friend, even helping Chris to plan the perfect proposal! I'm so excited to not only have her in our wedding party, but to also be gaining another sister!!
Groomsman
Robbie is the one who started out as a great friend and became the best brother-in-law a man could have. As soon as Robbie and I started hanging out we were inseparable, from all-weekend video game sessions and campfires, to epic snowboarding crashes, to the time Robbie tried to convince a doctor he contracted bird flu. No matter the topic of the story Robbie is always there making it interesting! I am proud to call Robbie a friend and a brother and I could not be more fortunate to have him with me on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Julianne may have started as my brother's "friend" from Kalamazoo, but as their relationship blossomed into a wonderful partnership and marriage, I was lucky enough to have my relationship with her grow into one of true friendship and sisterhood. I can't imagine a better wife for Rob, and I'm so grateful to be able to call her my friend, and more importantly my sister! She knows all the crazy that comes with the Treadwell family, and so I'm excited to have her there to keep me calm and stand with me on our wedding day!
Groomsman
i am very much looking forward to spending more time with Rob and continuing to get to know him as a brother-in-law and friend. From the times we have gotten to spend together, I know he is not only incredibly hard-working, but even more I know Rob is guy who loves his family more than anything. We are very similar in that aspect which is why I am excited to soon call him a brother. I look forward to many years of board games, ski trips in leprechaun suits and conversations by the pool!
Bridesmaid
Jess and I met during the first week of business school at Owen, and have been thick as thieves ever since. She's been my sounding board since my first date with Chris, from making sure everything was going well (and that he wasn't going to kidnap me), to letting me talk incessantly about this cute new guy I was into. Beyond that, she embraces how weird I can be and is usually right there with me getting into trouble wherever we go. Don't be surprised if she's the center of a dance-off at some point!
Groomsman
I first met Chris at Beth's graduation, and got to spend more time with him when he came to visit Nashville for his birthday last year. While we haven't known each other for long, I'm looking forward to many more years of relaxing by the pool and getting to know each other over a beer and great music. One thing I do know for sure is that we'll have plenty of time on the golf course with Chris coaching me through the round! I know how important both of Beth's brothers are to her, and i am so grateful that I will soon be able to call them my brothers too.
Bridesmaid
From t-ball with Coach Sunshine, to Dirty Girls softball in Chicago, Michelle and I have been friends for over 20 years. Our friendship has lasted through awkward high school phases and awful ex-boyfriends, to going to college in separate states and staying out late enough to watch the sun come up on the fourth of July. After braving a winter storm in Detroit to stand by her side while she married Bryan, and helping her welcome her first child into the world in June, it only felt right to have Michelle standing by me while Chris and I take this next step together!
Groomsman
Ryan and I have know each other since freshman year of high school. When I met him he was the guy wearing huge baggy pants riding railings on his skates, but we didn't become close until high school graduation. Now, Ryan is one of the most caring and thoughtful individuals I have ever met, which is why he has grown to be one of my best friends. From accidentally stealing coconuts in Key West, to trying to jump railroad tracks in a Nissan Frontier, Ryan has always been there to make the night more interesting! I am honored to have him with me on one the most important day of my life.
Bridesmaid
Most of Caroline's and my early friendship stories are still not allowed to be publicly shared (sorry Mom and Dad), but for over 20 years we've been getting into and out of mischief together, running around in Chicago playing softball, and trying to save ALL the dogs. As another friend who's wedding day I had the honor of being a part of, she's the perfect addition to my bridal party! Besides, it's always good to have a police officer on hand in case things get out of control!
Groomsman
Grant is my right-hand man on the trail! When it comes to adventures and finding someone who wants to climb a mountain for no other reason then to say we did it, Grant is the best person for the job. We first met in college interning for a music venue mopping floors and running and shows, and since then he has grown into one of my closest friends. We have been on so many adventures together, with many more to come, and I am so fortunate that he will be a part of the greatest adventure of all.
