We met in April of 2023 thanks to a very special mutual friend, Kate Springsteen (bridesmaid). While celebrating Kate’s birthday, she introduced the two of us—both close friends of hers and her now fiancé, Christian Montembeau. Neither of us were looking for love at the time, which somehow made the connection even more meaningful. From the very beginning, we clicked and quickly realized just how much we had in common. Our first official date was in June of 2023, we moved in together in September of 2024, and by April of 2025, we were engaged. Turns out, the best things really do happen when you’re not looking.
