Question

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttles departing both hotels on 6/14 at 3:15 sharp. There will also be shuttles available to take you back to your hotel.

What time is check-in at the hotels? Can I check-in early?

Answer

Check-in time at Lansdowne Resort is 4pm, and Hampton Inn is 3pm. Unfortunately, neither hotel can guarantee an earlier check-in. Buses depart both hotels at 3:15, so if you are arriving on the day of the wedding you may want to come dressed and ready! However, both hotels can lock up your luggage. At Lansdowne Resort, you will have access to the resort amenities as soon as you arrive, including the Health Club.

I'm staying the Hampton Inn, but want to join the after party at Lansdowne Resort. How do I get there?

Answer

You can take the shuttle from Shadow Creek that is going to Lansdowne Resort. When you are ready to go back to the Hampton Inn, please take an uber. It should be a 10-15 minute ride.

Question

I am staying the weekend, what's everyone doing on Saturday?

Answer

We are going to pick a winery or brewery to go to on Saturday afternoon, check back for time and location details. This will be very informal, and everyone can come and go as they please. If you plan on drinking, there is uber in the area to get you around!

Isn't Virginia strict on speeding laws?

Answer

Yes! Please be careful traveling within Virginia - they have very harsh speeding laws, and going too fast can land you a weekend in jail and/or a hefty fine. And, don't drink and drive (in Virginia or anywhere)! We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding, and there is always Uber/Lyft/cabs.
