Our story began in March of 2019 when Brian checked in at VT-86 and we first met on the squadron's softball team. What started out as coworkers casually hanging with the squadron friends, quickly grew into a closer friendship. Beth left active duty for the Navy Reserves (only working a few days a month in Pensacola) in December and moved back to Texas. The time apart made us appreciate our time together even more, and as difficulties in the world around us increased, we realized we wanted to take it on together. The distance has been hard, but we are truly better together and very grateful for video chat! We have also been blessed to travel together, once to ski in Breckenridge over New Year's and again to tour the beautiful National Parks last fall. Our love grew deeper and deeper until Brian decided to put his money where his mouth was... and on February 19, 2021 while enjoying a beautiful day on the Mobile Bay at sunset, she said YES!! So now our lives as two has come to an end and we eagerly look forward to what God has planned for our journey as one!
