While we may not recommend chugging bottles of champagne across the street from the Chicago Theater, here are some places that are special to us in the city.

This was the location of our first date, and the start of something special. It has a great selection of board games to play, wonderful food and drinks, and immaculate vibes.

Snakes & Lattes Chicago

The location of our welcome party on Friday night and Beth's favorite spot for late-night karaoke.

Mom's Place - A Chicago Gathering Spot

We spent our first Valentine's Day together here; shuffle board fans rejoice!

Royal Palms Chicago

Our favorite music venue in the city, often with local bands and cheap drinks.

The Empty Bottle

A local distillery by our place where we met up with friends the day we got engaged. It's a great option to stop at before the wedding for those looking to head towards the venue neighborhood early.

KOVAL Tasting Room

We play bar trivia at this Chicago staple every Monday night; also a filming location for the Chicago Fire television show.

A lovely bar across the street from where Beth used to live, it gives us nostalgia every time we go in. Order a gimlet, you won't regret it!

Matchbox Bar

A small speakeasy in Pilsen run by two of the city's best bartenders.  It's a special place for us; we went here right after we got engaged.

The Alderman

Ben's favorite burger place and the location of many hangouts with friends! Great beer menu.
