Travel Note

Flight Information

All out of town guests should plan to fly into Raleigh–Durham International Airport (RDU). We recommend arriving on Friday, July 31, 2026 (the day before the wedding). Morning or afternoon flights are best to give you time to settle in before the Nuptial Mass on Saturday, August 1. For the best fares, look to book your flights 2–4 months in advance (April–May 2026).

Travel Note

Airbnb Options

Along with local hotels, there are excellent Airbnb choices nearby. If booked in advance, prices can range from $150–$250 per night for smaller homes to $300–$500 per night for larger houses that are perfect for families or groups.

Things To Do in/near Raleigh

If you’re staying in Raleigh for a bit, don’t miss these local gems — they’re especially lovely in summer: Pullen Park — A classic Raleigh favorite with paddle boats, a carousel, kiddie train rides, shaded paths, and picnic spots. Perfect for a relaxed family outing. JC Raulston Arboretum — Even in August, the gardens are vibrant. They host Evening Garden Strolls (August dates) that are beautiful when the light softens. Museum of Life + Science (Durham, ~30 min away) — A fantastic spot for families with outdoor exhibits, walking trails, interactive science displays, and wildlife. Make It a Vacation — August 1, 2026 & Beyond Downtown Raleigh & Art/Dining Walks — Summer evenings are great for walking through the city: local shops, food trucks, patios, street music, and local ice cream spots like Two Roosters Ice Cream with seasonal flavors.
