Vanessa was having a night out with her friends and Jose was attending a birthday celebration at the same nightclub. As the story goes, they made eye contact as Jose and his group were walking in and later in the evening Jose asked a security guard to ask Vanessa and her friends if they wanted to join him and his group in their VIP area. The security guard said no, but as we all know, Jose always finds a way. The security guard eventually agreed (after Jose spent the best $20 of his life). At first reluctant, Vanessa and her friends accepted the invite and after some conversation and a few dances to Romeo Santos, the rest was history.
