In 2018, a rainstorm sent Jodie into Firebirds to wait out Audrey’s soccer practice where Matt happened to be having dinner at the bar. One easy conversation later, Matt asked if she dated. (“I don’t,” she laughed.) He asked for her info, and she handed over her NBC business card, which honestly almost scared him off since he’s a devoted FOX fan. A few emails (and only two canceled plans 🙃) later, they finally went out. The rest is, as they say, history. In May 2024, they got engaged and can’t wait to celebrate with you.
