We met at the good ol' Old California Mining company where Emily worked with her friend Jen who introduced the two. We were both told by her "I have a friend." We both disagreed we did not want to meet anyone at that time, but after a few times of asking we set up a date at the Old California Mining Company and Emily ditched the first date because "of work." So we ended up meeting the next day and have been inseparable ever since!
We moved into our new house on July 15th, 2023 and Emily left on her trip to Hawaii with Justin's family a week after they moved for 8 days. Emily returned from Hawaii August 1st and that weekend Everett (the youngest son) drew a picture of Dad and Emily on the beach and Justin holding a ring and Emily super surprised in the picture. Justin got down on one knee after Everett handed Emily the picture and Jackson (the older son) was filming it all happening. Thanks to our "chili bros," for making our special day so memorable.
