Kate & Bennett reconnected in the wild, wild west of Instagram back in 2022. It started when Bennett posted a picture of himself fishing in a cowboy hat. Kate couldn’t resist and replied with 20 heart-eye emojis. However, they weren’t exactly strangers. 

In fact, they have known each other for over 17 years. Kate is one of Bennett’s friend’s little sisters, which meant she was strictly off-limits back in the day. Ryan—Kate’s older brother—if you’ve ever met him, you know he’s the kind of guy you wouldn’t want to mess with—tattoos and a voice that could fill a stadium; turns out Ryan's more teddy bear than grizzly. He welcomed Bennett with open arms, giving his full blessing. 

Less than a month later, these two were out on their first date at 8 Settlers Distillery; the second date was a Harley ride up to Snowbird for Oktoberfest. By the third date, Kate invited Bennett to the Nowell cabin, spending the weekend with her family. 

And the rest, as they say, is history!
