We're Getting Married!

We both have a love of philanthropy and giving back to the community, so it makes perfect sense that we met doing just that! In January 2018, Tara joined the Young Professional's Committee of the Katy Trail Non-Profit in Dallas - an organization that David was a founding member of the year before. We became instant friends, bonding over our careers as college athletes (both Wildcats!), our love of wine, and the many mutual friends we didn't know we had in common. Little did we know that a few months later, we would go on our first date and the rest would be history.

On November 27, 2019, while in California for Thanksgiving, David brought Tara to one of their favorite wineries (Benovia Winery) in Sonoma County for a wine tasting. Mid-way through, David asked if she wanted to go outside and retake a photo they took the year before. Hesitant because of the rainy weather, but never one to turn down a good photo opportunity, she agreed and off they went. As the camera was set up, David got down on one knee and promised forever! It was the most magical day of our lives, so far.... We can't wait to see everyone on our big day back in Wine Country - a place very near and dear to our hearts!
