We ask that all guests arrive at 3:30PM - 30 minutes before the ceremony which is at 4:00PM. This ensures that guests will have plenty of time to mingle and get seated. Please be aware that Rose Valley Lodge is located 30-35 minutes from the airport, and there is minimal cell service in the area.
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult only event with exception of out of town guests, our ring bearer and flower girls. We hope you can understand that we would like to create a sophisticated and intimate atmosphere for all our guests. We realize that this may impact your plans, and we want to make sure you have plenty of time to arrange for childcare. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a “date night” for yourselves!
We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones are on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day. After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you would like!
We’d love to see friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting formal attire for the event. Please note we are having an outdoor ceremony! Feel free to bring an extra pair of clothes or layers to sit by the fire in the evening.
The reception will be held in an outdoor tent, while the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, weather dependent. We are hopeful for beautiful weather, but please be aware that if conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour, we will move them under the tent to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.
Yes, there is complimentary guest parking. The venue has kindly asked that you collect your vehicle by the next morning by 11:00AM if you would like to leave it there overnight.
Absolutely! We want all our guests to enjoy the meal.
