What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that all guests arrive at 3:30PM - 30 minutes before the ceremony which is at 4:00PM. This ensures that guests will have plenty of time to mingle and get seated. Please be aware that Rose Valley Lodge is located 30-35 minutes from the airport, and there is minimal cell service in the area.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult only event with exception of out of town guests, our ring bearer and flower girls. We hope you can understand that we would like to create a sophisticated and intimate atmosphere for all our guests. We realize that this may impact your plans, and we want to make sure you have plenty of time to arrange for childcare. However, we encourage you to use this evening as a “date night” for yourselves!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones are on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day. After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you would like!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting garden party chic/formal attire for the event. Please note we are having an outdoor ceremony! Feel free to bring an extra pair of clothes or layers to sit by the fire in the evening.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The reception will be held in an outdoor tent, while the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, weather dependent. We are hopeful for beautiful weather, but please be aware that if conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour, we will move them under the tent to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is complimentary guest parking. The venue has kindly asked that you collect your vehicle by the next day if you would like to leave it there overnight.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! We want all our guests to enjoy the meal. Please let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions (e.g., gluten-free, dairy-free, nut allergies, vegan, etc.) Our catering team is happy to accommodate your needs. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us.

Is transportation provided to and from the venue?

Yes! We’ve arranged a shuttle service through First Student. Pick-Up: 2:30–2:45 PM from the Hampton Inn Return Shuttles: 10:30 PM 12:30 AM

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We love you—and wish we could invite everyone! To keep things cozy, invites are just for the names you see on the envelope. If you have a plus one, they’ll be listed there!

What is the Menu?

Answer

Dinner will include a fresh salad (Nappa Chinese Salad) followed by: Pork Tenderloin Calvados - wrapped in smoked bacon, served with apples and Calvados sauce, scalloped potatoes vegetables Or Eggplant & Tomato Casserole - spiced with olive oil, onions, garlic, allspice and tarragon. Served with short grain rice and two kinds of vegetables (Vegetarian Option) Dessert: Tiramisu cake Or Strawberry shortcake Late Night Snack: Taco Bar

When Should I RSVP By?

Please RSVP by July 15! We need final numbers for food, seating, and shuttle planning, so make sure to let us know if you’re coming!
