Lauren and Adam met on Bumble in the spring of 2017 and quickly discovered a connection that felt effortless. Their first date, brunch at Trattoria Aroma, set the tone for what would become a relationship built on ease, laughter, and genuine joy. At the time, Lauren was finishing her English Literature degree at Buffalo State, while Adam was returning to bartending at Vera. From cooking at home to long walks with Koda and nights out with friends, they found happiness in both the simple moments and shared adventures. It didn’t take long for them to realize they had found their person. As their relationship grew, so did their love for the city around them. While Buffalo had always been Adam’s home, he helped make it feel that way for Lauren too. Together, they grew into a life shaped by the city they love, one filled with close friends, familiar places, shared routines, and the comfort of knowing they are exactly where they belong. In May 2024, Adam surprised Lauren with a proposal on their balcony overlooking the ocean in Curaçao, while their closest friends and family waited excitedly back home, already in on the secret. Now, they’re excited to celebrate their love and the life they’ve built together, surrounded by the people who have been part of their story from the very beginning.
