We're so excited to share our special day with you!

I had just finished my first fall season playing volleyball out of state at The University of Tulsa, and James had just come home for the holidays from a 9 month long deployment overseas with the Marine Corps. I was scrolling on my Instagram timeline & came across a photo of the most handsome man I've ever seen smiling next to a HS/Club volleyball acquaintance, Chelsea Spurlock. I clicked his profile & thought "why not!", so I added him on Instagram on Christmas Day night. 2 days late I received a follow back and a direct message from none other than James Berry! After he called me "absolutely gorgeous" he proceeded to ask me on a date to Shoguns! I knew Chelsea was a cool person, so figured he couldn't be a serial killer since they were best friends, so I accepted his offer. We had an amazing date which started with me telling him to please not sit on the same side of the booth as me, then me arguing with the waiter for a kids meal, and finally ending with a game of Top Golf and James landing our first kiss!
