It started out in Atlanta as pandemic bubble dinners with our mutual friends and morphed into pool dates, watching football, and Frex walks around Georgia Tech. Then came the distance. We decided we wanted to see where things go; Boston is a fun city and a minor Delta hub after all! Rachel took extended trips to Boston thanks to her semi-flexible job. Jared and Frex made the drive down from Boston for the winter holidays. We also snuck in a few trips to Spain, Colorado, and Park City. Not only did we make it work, but Jared taught Rachel to ski and lives to tell the tale. Eventually it became clear that being together was the only option. So, after a mutual job search in each other's city, Boston won out. The move was made in September 2024, and since then we've had so much fun exploring the Boston restaurant scene together, taking Frex on walks to get milk tea, and rooting for the Lightning, Colts, and Bucs! We're so excited to celebrate our love and commitment to each other in the place were it all started surrounded by the people that mean the most to us! And an official anniversary date to celebrate every year is just an added bonus!
