Take in the beauty of the Hudson Valley from above! The Walkway Over the Hudson spans the Hudson River and connects the City of Poughkeepsie in Dutchess County with the Town of Lloyd and Hamlet of Highland in Ulster County, New York. It's the longest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world, and rises 212 feet above the river.
For a quick bite to eat, check out Lola's Cafe (located right under the entrance to the Walkway over the Hudson on the Poughkeepsie side). The food is absolutely delicious-the peanut noodles come highly recommended by the bride & groom!
Mohonk is the largest private nature reserve in New York. There are many hiking trails to try, ranging from easy to difficult and the views are worth the effort! Lauren & Mike have hiked at Mohonk a few times and highly recommend!
Mike & Lauren’s favorite brewery in the area, this is a great place to stop for a beer and a bite! A fun atmosphere & the food is delicious-if you don’t get the truffle fries you’ll regret it!
