We met at Fayetteville-Manlius high school circa 2001 and instantly found similar interests and started dating. It was there where Josh experienced the biggest P.I.G beat down in basketball history. Josh needed time to lick his wounds and recover from that experience. Fast forward a short 15 years later, Jenn commented on a Syracuse basketball Facebook post Josh had made. Josh decided to see if the phone number Jenn gave him from high school was still in use...turned out it was! After many texts and phone calls for hours, days, and weeks later, Jenn decided to surprise Josh at his work and say hello. She walked up the steps and “sparks flew”. It started as a strong, supportive friendship and progressed into something incredible. We knew we had rekindled something special. After spending many days and nights together in our halfway points (Waterloo and Canandaigua) and in Syracuse and Rochester for two years, we now call Fairport our home, where we live with our loving, kiss-giving and equally adventurous rescue dog, Snoop (or Bubba). Josh asked Jenn to marry him on May 10, 2019 at Casa Larga Vineyards in Rochester. We went for lunch and after a few funny moments, were finally seated on the deck overlooking the vineyard and Rochester skyline. It was a beautiful day and Josh asked Jenn to go for a walk through the vineyard. Josh got down on one knee and asked for her hand. Of course, she said yes! We could not be more excited to celebrate the next step in our journey with each of you, who have played (and will continue to play) such an important part in our adventure!
