Best Man
Ryan and I have been tied at the hip since a young age. We’ve always had shared interests some of which were making movies, playing in the same band, and building random creations using resources around us. Being so similar led to some bickering over the years as our parents would say “like an old married couple” but that led to a very strong bond. Ryan and I went to Virginia Tech and lived four years together resulting in an eventful college experience. Even though those childhood days have passed, we still look to make new memories of playing disc golf and doing big boy house projects. Ryan is reliable and always there to motivate his friends. He is the ultimate host and event planner and I couldn’t be happier finally calling him my best man.
Maid of Honor
Maddie is my little sister, she was almost like my little shadow growing up. Following my friends and I around always wanting to play or do what we were doing, stealing my clothes and doing whatever she could to annoy me. Over time we became the best of friends, she was always my protector if someone said something about me and continued to be my biggest supporter. Even though she moved half way across the country we continue to keep up with each other daily, filling each other in on reality TV drama, work annoyances, outfit ideas, etc.. Today I don't know what I would do without her, she's the best friend and sister anyone could ask for.
Groomsman
David is my older brother by about four and a half years. While we grew up with different interests due to age gap we’ve since been finding a connection through sports and comedy. Even though we grew up on our own paths, David was there to help me through many points in life and shape me into the person I am today. He is always there for a talk even though he and Nicole have been very busy with their beautiful child Emily.
Matron of Honor
Shelby has been my next door neighbor and childhood best friend for 22 years of my life. I first met Shelby when we moved to Maryland and we became fast friends, playing Polly Pockets, acting like survivalists in the woods behind our house, and making up dances to Shakira on our parents front steps. So much of my life had Shelby in it, we saw each other through breakups, stupid high school fights we would have, seeing her getting married and have her 1st baby, and now by my side as my Matron of Honor. I couldn't be happier to have Shelby by my side and to call her not only my best friend but sister too.
Groomsman
Christian grew up with me all through grade school. After college we lived together for two years living in Reston and Tysons corner. We often had engaging talks about life, video games, and fantasy football. Christian has a genuine personality and supports his friends interests while also bringing everyone along for the ride to share his enthusiasm with cars. He is a great friend and has shown his support for Hannah and my relationship since the beginning.
Bridesmaid
Brittany and I met on our first day of sorority recruitment Sophomore year of college at the University of South Carolina. I thought she was one of the coolest people I had ever met, she was from California, traveled to so many places, & dressed up, did her hair and makeup every day of college (while I always looked like a bum). Over the next 2 years at school together we hung out a ton, had some wild nights out and made countless mistakes & memories, but always had fun doing it! After college she moved back home to California and I still had a year left of college but we made time to visit and catch up as much as possible. When she moved to the East coast with her now fiancé, James, we were both so happy to be close to each other again. We would do spontaneous day trips to the city, late nights drinking wine and talking about anything and everything, camping trips and beach weekends at LBI. Over the years she has become my confidant, therapist, biggest supporter and best friend. Couldn't imagine doing life without her and am so happy to have her stand by my side!
Groomsman
Alec and I lived together for about three and a half years in college and have been buddies ever since. It became apparent that our relationship would come with some challenges as Alec is a Philadelphia fan but through our differences we have had each others backs when they needed it most. Alec cares for his friends more than he shows and that’s no knock on what he does for them. He is inclusive to all and knows how to get a laugh out of the room.
Bridesmaid
Esther and I met in the dorms freshman year of college, she lived across the hall and was good friends with my roommate, Tina, so we became fast friends! First thing I noticed about Esther was how bubbly, high energy and fun she was. She made you feel instantly welcome and always made sure you were having the best time. She was my partner in crime when we would go out in five points and showed me the ropes of navigating college. The next 3 years of college we roomed together (moving every year), but had the best time getting into shenanigan's down town, going to beach and mountain weekends together, and Esther forcing me to study at the library with her. After college I moved home and she stayed in Columbia to finish getting her Master's, it was so hard to leave my one constant in college, but we visit each other as much as possible. No matter how long we go with out seeing or talking to each other, the moment we are together its as nothing has changed. So happy to have my lifelong friend stand by my side on my special day.
Groomsman
Anthony has always been in arms reach ever since we were in preschool. We were childhood neighbors who went to the same elementary school, middle school, high school, college and even shared the same college degree. It wasn’t until a few years ago when Anthony moved to San Diego when that streak came to an end - but we still catch up on trips and polarizing Hokie sports. Anthony is bright and optimistic which has led him to so much success with his career and life. He’s often the man to be picked out of a crowd or win a contest based on pure luck - which to this day he still won’t admit. But he’s got to be pretty lucky to be able to share it with his amazing wife Sami.
Bridesmaid
I met Sarah my freshman year of high school, she was good friends with our friend Alex and the 3 of us became super close and hung out all the time. Throughout high school we had so many adventures (some I don't think our parents would appreciate) but because of that we built a solid foundation of our friendship so that when we both went to separate colleges we still remained so close. Sarah, her now fiance Tanner, and our other close friends would always make the trip down to Columbia for St. Patty's day (all 4 years) and those are by far my favorite memories of us all together, listening to music, catching up & having so much fun! I would also visit them at Towson whenever I could and it was always so fun to get us all together again. After college we both were at home and then living in VA so it was so much easier to get together for dinners, wine nights, game nights and weekends away. I'm so happy that we've stayed so close over the years and through all our different phases in life, and couldn't be happier to have my forever friend by my side.
Groomsman
Peter and I met through our common CNU friends. They’ve been spending time over the last few years building up a friendship driven by sport addictions. Peter is always there to enjoy a weeknight game but also to help in any way possible. He probably has the largest network of friends and will keep up with every single one of them like they are the most important person to him.
Bridesmaid
Bobbiann is like the second sister I never knew I needed. I met her visiting my sister at WVU their sophomore year of college and we instantly hit it off! She was loud, outgoing, hilarious and the life of the party! They made me feel like I was back in college, forcing me to go to frat parties and creepy/disgusting clubs in basements. But every time I visited, Bobbi made me feel welcome, making me laugh with her shenanigan's and her stories of what happened the night before, and explanations of all the bruises she had acquired. During their senior year of college Bobbi and their other friend Chloe got in a bad car accident, where Chloe lost her life and Bobbi was in intense care. Bobbi had already become such a big part of our family and we were devastated to hear of this news, my family and I visited Bobbi in the hospital while she recovered and are so grateful of the recovery she has made and who she has become as a person. She's determined, forgiving, positive and just such a light after everything that has happened to her. I am so thankful that she is still here with us, healthy and able to stand by my side as a bridesmaid.
