Outdoor adventures including rafting, tubing, mountain biking, and zip-lining. Also, a fun place to get dinner on the river or to just relax and watch whitewater kayakers surf!

Nantahala Outdoor Center

Enjoy the main attraction at Bryson City by a train ride! Get a front-row view of Fontana Lake, the historic Fontana Trestle, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Nantahala National Forest, the Nantahala and Tuckasegee Rivers, and historical structures. Fun fact, this train passes by where Matt used to live!

Rent pontoon boats, canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards to explore the 30 mile long Fontana Lake.

Fontana Village Resort Marina

The AT runs through the Fontana Dam, right where the ceremony will be held!
