Travel

Below are some basic travel details. We’ve included several lodging options below as a starting point to help guests with planning. There are many options in the Long Island City area and nearby neighborhoods. We are also exploring additional hotel options and will update this page as needed.

Flight

LGA or JFK

For guests traveling from out of state, we recommend flying into LaGuardia (LGA) or JFK at least one day before the wedding. LGA is the closest airport (about a 15-minute taxi or ride-share), while JFK is approximately 30 minutes away. Both airports are accessible via public transportation.

Train

Subway

The venue is a 7-minute walk from the 7 train at Vernon Blvd–Jackson Ave and a 10-minute walk from the G train at 21 St.

Travel Note

Parking

For guests driving into Long Island City for the day, street parking is available near the venue, though availability can be limited. If you are unable to find street parking, there are several nearby parking garages, and we recommend reserving a spot in advance. If you are staying at a nearby hotel, we suggest taking a yellow cab (using the Curb app), another rideshare service, or public transit to get to and from the venue.

Travel Note

Ferry

Ferry stations near American Brass include Hunters Point South, a 7-minute walk away, and Long Island City, an 8-minute walk away.

For guests traveling from out of town who are looking for more affordable accommodations, we also suggest exploring hotels in other neighborhoods such as Flushing, which is a separate neighborhood in Queens. While Flushing is not within walking distance of the venue, it is easily accessible via public transportation. Hotels such as Hotel Indigo Flushing – LaGuardia are just a short walk from the 7 train, which provides a direct and convenient ride to Long Island City.
