Hotel Colorado

Hotel Colorado was built in 1893, just 5 years after our house was built! Over the years Hotel Colorado has housed many including Navy vets who used the Hot Springs pools for their healing properties. It also housed President Theodore Roosevelt. In fact, the first teddy bear was made right here in the hopes to cheer The President after an unsuccessful hunting trip. Looking to the future, our reception will take place in the Colorado Ballroom. We have a hotel block, but please do not feel obligated to book a room here. There are many other hotels and Airbnb's within walking distance.

Welcome to The Wild West

Even though we are in the mountains, we have a couple of airports to choose from. Denver will probably be cheapest followed by Grand Junction, but the closest are Aspen Airport and Eagle Airport.
