From our very first date it was clear how much music would shape our story. Joe, of course, had to mention his time in a punk band (He played at Warped Tour!) and immediately pulled up YouTube to play one of his songs on the spot. From there, we discovered just how much music has been woven into both of our lives. Between Joe’s love of finding great bands and Mary’s seven-and-counting Fall Out Boy concerts, music became one of the first things we bonded over. After this, it quickly became apparent that our story was meant to be together — we even "hard launched" our relationship at a concert! That’s why a pop-punk/music theme felt like the perfect way to celebrate our wedding—it’s nostalgic, full of energy, and a nod to the millennial emo favorites we’ll be playing throughout the night. “Sugar, We’re Going Down the Aisle" is a tribute to one of our favorite Fall Out Boy songs and the soundtrack of so many memories with friends. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by family, friends, and the songs that shaped us. By the end of the night, we hope you'll be screaming "Thnks fr th Mmrs."
