Hello. I am Tagni Theophile. I first met Abanda in New York. We were both in the US Army and stationed at Fort Dum. He is a good guy to be around. For me he is more than friend. He is very patient and a good father. Someone you can turn to when you are in the needs. I almost forgot on of his particularity, the cooking and making Soya. I learned a lot from him, he is an open book. I am glad and know he met the good one (wife) this time. ❤️

I’ve known Ben since our secondary school days, and later we both attended UB together. We’ve shared countless memories over the years, and through it all, she has been more than a friend she's a sister. Ben is incredibly loyal and has a heart that always leans toward peace. She truly hates conflict and will go out of her way to make sure everyone around her feels comfortable and cared for. A fun fact for you, Isaac Ben absolutely hates waking up in the middle of the night to watch a baby! 😂 So brace yourself! But to be fair, she can care for a baby all day long just don’t mess with her bedtime. Maybe that’ll change when she becomes a mom… or maybe not! 😂 One thing’s for sure: Ben loves to dance, and I’m sure you already know that, Isaac. She enjoys life to the fullest there’s never a dull moment when she’s around. She has such a kind and generous soul, and she’s incredibly determined. Ben cannot stand to hear that someone is hungry or in need she’ll always find a way to help or provide something. Like I said earlier, Ben is a peacemaker at heart. I’ve lived with her for years, and we’ve never had a single issue. She naturally avoids drama, and I absolutely admire that about her. There’s so much more I could say, but I’ll pause here for now. Sistermi, as I fondly call you… September 16th marked the day our paths crossed on the hills of P.S.S. Nkwen. We started simply as classmates, grew into friends, and eventually became what we are now sisters by heart. We’ve shared both sweet and bitter moments through university days, the painful season when I lost my mom, the excitement of opening my first business, and the joy of reuniting when I came to visit you in Germany. You’ve been there through it all. One of the most unforgettable things you ever did for me was in 2017. You had the opportunity to move to the U.S., but when it turned out I was coming to Germany, you made a deep, selfless decision. You told me, “Nunu, I’ll return to Germany so you can find your footing before I relocate to the U.S.” That one act of sacrifice speaks volumes of your heart, and I will never forget it. I've had the privilege of knowing Isaac for about four years now. We first met when he was my section sergeant back at Fort Hood now Fort Cavazos. As a leader, Isaac is forthright, firm, intelligent, and incredibly grounded. He carries himself with a sense of culture and maturity that’s hard to miss. During our rotation in Germany, he often took it upon himself to cook for us and I must say, the man truly knows his way around a kitchen. But beyond his leadership and culinary skills, what stood out to me the most was his genuine investment in those around him. As a friend and big brother, Isaac always saw potential in me and pushed me to grow into a better soldier. He’s also a serious athlete running and playing soccer were, and hopefully still are, some of his favorite pastimes. Though, I’ll let you in on a little secret: the one thing he can’t quite handle is the fact that he’s never been able to beat me at soccer. He might not admit it, but we both know it’s true lol.

As I like to say, the city of Bamenda in Cameroon, and especially the village of Mbengwi, gave me everything I hold dear in my life, including my friend and brother, Abanda Isaac. We met in Mbengwi during our studies, and I was the young French-speaking boy who came from another city to study. That's where our paths crossed. We became friends right away when we met and shared the same passions (photography and football). Isaac is a very simple, humble person, and always available to help others. What I remember from my adventure in Mbengwi is that he always made me feel at home there. He is truly a sincere friend and someone who gives everything to protect his friends and those he loves.
