Billy Goat Trail C
the site of our first date :) you will need a car to check this trail out! it's not too difficult in our opinion.
Glenstone
one of our first dates was at this museum! we go here every year and would love to see you enjoy it as well! you will need to travel by car as well.
Sugarloaf Mountain
we love to hike here! it's closer to our house and you will need to get there by car.
National Mall
metro in and stop at the Smithsonian stop for the ultimate experience! if you're staying outside of DC, we recommend finding an easy metro stop to park at and metro in to Smithsonian. we usually park at Shady Grove metro station as the red line is direct.
Gravelly Point
we love to plane watch here in any weather! see where your plane (probably) landed and will take off! you will need to unfortunately take a car here, but can probably be doable by bike as well.
Baked & Wired
a bakery we really love in Georgetown! while you're in town, check out the exorcist stairs while you're at it >o>
Rock Creek Regional Park
we hiked here a lot when we first started dating! it's very chill and quiet. fun fact, Rock Creek Park actually runs for miles and this is one of the many entrances. we like this one because of the lake.
Gwenie's Pastries
mmm mmm mmm!! our favorite Filipino bakery. there are two locations in Maryland, but the Frederick location closer to our home is styled like an actual sit in bakery vs. the Rockville location that is more of a pick up location.
Great Falls Park
again, another frequent hiking location haha. can you tell we love hiking? there are many trails varying in difficulty all over Great Falls that you can try or you can just take a look at the Great Falls themselves! it's a very beautiful tourist spot that we love to recommend.
