Will there be transportation?

Answer

You are responsible for getting into the venue by 5:45 pm (uber is recommended as we have outbound transportation provided at the end of the night) After the ceremony, a trolley will be provided between the ceremony and reception, and at the end of the night the trolly will be making several stops around town for drop off at your hotel/Airbnb.

Can I bring a Guest/Date?

Answer

No we, unfortunately, cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to the nature of this 18+ event, no children will be in attendance.

Is the ceremony on sand and outdoors

Answer

Yes! The ceremony is on the sand and the reception is inside the fortress. Footwear for the ceremony is optional but the reception footwear is mandatory. The ENTIRE wedding is outdoors

Are there any colors we should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride-white, ivories, and creams. We also ask that you avoid the bridal parties colors of dusty/light blue

How does the travel agent work?

Answer

We have hired a professional wedding travel agent who is local to Key West. She will help you find exactly what you would like and stay within your budget. She can put you near other guests and/or close to the venue if requested. Please mention "The Bernath Wedding" when booking PLEASE hold off on booking until mid—May as more accommodation options become available then

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us and are requesting a semi-formal dress code

The average daytime weather in Key West in April is 75-85 degrees

How should I get around?

Answer

Renting a car or taking the Duval loop bus and trolley service https://www.cityofkeywest-fl.gov/326/Duval-Loop. Downtown Key West is very walkable
