Best Man
Met in accounting class in Highschool. Joe used to smoke e-cigs while dipping at the age of 14 (champ) the dip he would spit on the school carpet and the cig smoke would get blown into my hoodie. Took me a month to figure out why I was seeing smoke in front of my eyes. And there is legend that there is still a Copenhagen stain in the computer lab to this day. Sounds stupid but lead to an eleven-year friendship with more enough high-risk hijinks that could of killed or ruined our lives. I wouldn't change a single part of it.
Maid of Honor
We met during high school at some of our worst times, luckily Noel hasn't left my side since. Noel never wanted to be my friend but she couldn’t resist me. We knew after rollarskating and roasting people we would be best friends. Plus I peed on one of her chairs, after a drunk night in high school. So we’re bonded for life! Thankful she has helped plan every part of the wedding, a true sister and best friend. Also she’s the only person I know to ralley after falling head on to a jeep….
Groomsman
The Demi god himself. An amazing father. Met this man the old fashion way, through a multi night bender with the Kroeger brothers. Over the years he has been an amazing and close friend that would do anything for us and I can talk to about everything and anything!
Bridesmaid
We hit it off from day one of meeting. Alyssa has been there for me anytime I've needed her to be, very thankful for her. She’s one of the best mamas I know and would do anything for her family. Alyssa can always laugh at anything including herself, I think this is what really bonds us. She’s a one of a kind friend.
Groomsman
Ryan and I moved to Coal City at the exact same time in 2011. We met after being stuck in the front office all day because we registered late for school. After 8 hours of torture and talking we realized we lived down the street from each other. We hung out nearly every day for 4 years after that. We had many breakups but found each other again in our bromance
Bridesmaid
We met years ago in high school and could not be more thankful. We both appreciate social work and can really throw down shots( takes me a bit longer..) If you ever need a colonial boy for a party, just call faith and Hannah. Make sure you lock up all the men first, apparently they love women dressed as colonial men. Aside from that Faith is always there when times get tough, unless one of us have a migraine. Then we’ll be there the next day!
Groomsman
Matt and I met through cooking, at a fine establishment by the name of La Piazza. Over the years we have become closer and closer friends through our common interests. To list a few eating, playing video games all day like we are 12, paying lots of money to golf even though we have never and probably will never even par, and drinking too much alcohol for our own good.
Bridesmaid
We met at one of my favorite places, the bar. Hannah is one of the realist people I know and is always there when you need her. She’s a doggie lover and knows how to stare anyone down who has a problem. When I think of Hannah I think of our wedding shower and Kim saying, “ Hannah-Banana smoked all my ciggys”
Groomsman
Robbie and I met at the Mecca of grocery, Aldi. He had been at the store at the very start of his career with the company and I was a pee on part-time guy trying to not starve. He and I being men and similar age obviously caused friendly competition of who could talk more shit and drink more liquor. So in a move nobody could predict Robbie invited me over to his apartment. Against all odds and company policies we started to party. Like really hard, RIP Mr. Gary. In that time Robbie and I became the best of friends. He put his own name and reputation on the line to help improve my life just because he believed in me. He never asked of anything in return. At some of the lowest parts of my life he helped me climb back up. He is proof that time isn't what makes a great friend.
Bridesmaid
We went to St. Francis together and suffered through our Social Work program. Soph is such an amazing person and I have been so grateful call her one of my best friends. I’m so grateful for Sophia and proud of her new and growing family.
Mother of the Groom
Momma Kim, my beautiful mother from whom I get most of my personality from. Nobody can piss me off so much in one second and then have me laughing so much the next. And I know she will say the same! No matter where I've gone in life History major, Drop Out, Cook, Grocery worker she has always supported me. She is the type of mother that just wants me to be happy. And you cant ask for more than that. I'm convinced if I told my mom that I wanted to be a bucket drummer at the Sox games she would just say "Make sure you have insurance". I love you Mom and I'm not scared to say I'm still a mommas boy.
Step-Father of the Groom
The only father I have had in my life. Has been with my mother for as long as I can remember. I am so grateful my mother has someone that works so hard for her and our family. He took on a big responsibility when he started dating my mom and I think he has done a great job of holding on. Love you Sunny!
Mother of the Bride
Shawny is the best friend I've ever had; she's shown me what having a mother truly meant. I’m so thankful for how close Shawny and I are, let’s just say when we went prom dress shopping I forgot to wear underwear and someone needed to help me get my dresses on and off. At least I learned my lesson for wedding dress shopping. Without her in my life I would not be where I am today. I don’t think Shawn and Bopper knew what they were really getting into when they took me in but since taking me in they have never turned back. I couldn’t imagine my life without a mom like Shawn.
Father of the Bride
I never had a father/daughter relationship and Bopper stepped up to the plate, without hesitation. I cannot say how happy I am to have him by my side on the wedding day. Bopper always knows how to have a good time but at the end of the day he can tell you what you need to hear. Truly thankful for him. I still feel guilty for breaking their lawn mower, crashing the Taurus, drinking the Tito’s during “wine nights” , and almost burning down the house from catching the oven on fire…. Like I said I don’t think they knew what they got themselves into! Oh wait I forgot I ran Zach’s leg over too. Wow, Shawn and Bopper have been through it with me. Love you guys so much!
Ring Bearer
You can tell Brenden is part of this family with his outgoing personality. He makes us more and more proud everyday with how sweet and funny he is. He keeps saying he going to wear Versace and Gucci to the wedding and I am starting to believe him!
Flower Boy
We became brother and sister when I got taken into the family in 2014. Zach always accepted me as his sister and I have always been so grateful for him. Even if he told his friends in middle school I was the maid !
Usher
Danny Kroeger and I became friends through his brother Joe. Danny mostly had to deal with Joe and I when we would sneak into their room very very drunk. And before you know it we were all sneaking into their room very very drunk. Over the years we have had some great memories most of them are at Joes demise which makes them even funnier.
Usher
Matt and I became friends shortly after his brother did so many years ago. No matter what dumb shit we did we would always drag Matt into it. Being as close as we are for so many years Matt is truly like my little brother and it makes me so excited he is in the wedding. Its been amazing seeing Matt grow into the man he is today being his own person. And after all the shit Ryan and I put him through I am shocked he still likes us.
Officiant
I met Christian in a very odd way, I woke up on his couch on a Saturday morning hungover. See Danny had a key to Christian's house. And we need somewhere to sleep. When Danny said " We are going to Phil's house" I thought we were going to be meeting said Phil. We get there and they say "he's not home" fast forward to the morning and I am waking up to this man walking into his home and I a stranger am balls deep in his couch all I could think to say is "Hey". He says "Hey" and then walked away. It then took me two weeks to realize Phil and Christian were the same person. I would end up balls deep on that couch many times again over the years.
