We met at a mutual friend's 55th birthday party. We danced and laughed for a couple of songs and Tony said "I'll be back for you later." A couple of friends took a picture in front of the backdrop with the birthday girl. Tony asked if he could take a selfie with me. After we took the picture Tony asked me to send him that picture, and he gave me his phone number. I laughed and said "You could have just asked for my number!” Tony called me as soon as we left the party, and we talked on the phone for three hours. After I hung up I thought, this could be the start of something special, and it was. We went on two dates that first week, and he's been making sure that date night happens since then.

Every birthday is celebrated at Mr. & Mrs. Richberg's house. I received a text message stating that we would be celebrating Teresa's birthday on Saturday at 6. He told me he was leaving early to help setup and that I should meet him there. He told me to dress up a little because I hadn't seen the family in a while, since the pandemic began. He had on a sweat suit, and I wanted to wear one as well. " Oh and put on a little makeup too", he said. I arrived very excited and went straight to the refrigerator to check out the cake. No cake! Where's the cake?, I asked Teresa. She said that it was in the car. We started dancing and having a really good time. Just then someone yelled " Alexa, play Why I Love You!" Wait...why are you playing that? I turned around and all of the family was behind me. I looked up and Tony was coming down the stairs with two dozen roses in his hands, singing to me. His nephews were carrying balloons that read Miss to Mrs. As he got to the bottom of the steps, my son and daughter entered the house smiling! It was amazing and I felt so in love and so loved <3
