Question

What attire shall I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is beach semi-formal or business casual. Tip: Please wear shoes that will enable you to walk comfortably on the sand and dance the night away at the reception. Groomsmen might even be wearing tennis shoes.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The general weather conditions for our wedding’s location will be in the high 80’s but may be cooler after sunset in mid 70’s. Bring a sweater in case it gets cool at the reception.

Can we take pictures after the ceremony?

Answer

Absolutely. If uploading to Instagram please use hashtag #ronandbern to help us cherish memories on our special day. Thank you so much in advance. Also, Thank You for keeping the aisles clear during the wedding so the professional photographer can get the best possible pictures. Please tag us #ronandbernwed

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Specific directions to the wedding ceremony will be updated here. The ceremony is planned at the east beach in front of the Hilton Sandestin. The reception is planned on the Sunset Deck nearby. FYI : In the event that it rains, there is a back up location in place in which we will all be directed to for both events.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby . Guests can head straight to the reception on the pool deck where we will be serving beverages and appetizers while you wait for the bridal party. Once they arrive, let the celebration begin. Dinner will be served followed by dancing under the stars.

What time should you arrive?

Answer

According to protocol noted on the “internet”, it is suggested that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled. Use your best judgment. Music will begin playing at 6pm (30 minutes prior to the ceremony), and we will be starting on time.

Where should guest park ? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is available at the Hilton Sandestin and it is free parking. If you would rather valet that is also available for a fee. The valet fee is $30.00

IMPORTANT: I have food allergies. How shall I get this information to you?

Answer

Please call or text me and let me know that nature of those allergies so we can send a list over to our chef.

Is there a group code for Hilton Sandestin Golf and Resort Spa if we wanted to book a room there?

Answer

Unfortunately, Hilton would not allow us to block rooms due to the month of June is a popular month for beach weddings. Please call 850 267 9500 for reservations. See you all soon 😃

What time is check in at the Hilton Sandestin Golf and Resort Spa if we get a hotel room ? What time is check out ?

Answer

Check in is at 4:00 PM. Check out is 11 am.
