We met just before one of our best friends’ wedding — she was a bridesmaid, and he was the best man. In the middle of all the wedding excitement, we kept crossing paths, sharing small moments between rehearsals, celebrations, and laughter. But it wasn’t until the bachelor and bachelorette trip that something quietly shifted. By the wedding day, being together felt effortless. We talked, we danced, we laughed — as if we had known each other far longer than we had. And when the final song of the night, Dancing Queen, began to play, everything felt clear. As we danced, smiling and completely present with each other, it felt like the beginning of something neither of us could ignore. And just to make it even more memorable — she caught the bride’s bouquet. The very next day, we planned our first dinner date. After her last class, she sent a simple text: “I just parked — wait for me.” As she walked toward him, his eyes were shining from across the way. In the middle of conversation, he surprised her by pulling out a container and saying, “I made you baklava. I hope you like it.” It was thoughtful, unexpected, and unmistakably sincere — a small gesture that meant everything. From that moment on, it was easy. Joyful. Certain. We are so grateful for the way our story began and even more grateful for the life we are building together. We cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter and dance the night away with all of our family and friends.
