Pittsburgh Pirates vs. St. Louis Cardinals
Check out one of America's most beautiful ballparks and cheer on the Pittsburgh Pirates as they play the St. Louis Cardinals in PNC Park on Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7. This is definitely one of Zach's favorite spots in Pittsburgh even though he watched the Cubs lose to the Pirates here in 2016.
The Strip District of Pittsburgh
The Strip District is a half square mile shopping district filled with diverse grocers, produce stands, markets, and sidewalk vendors that encompasses Pittsburgh's eclectic neighborhood feeling in one stretch. You can explore by foot, eat a famous Pittsburgh sandwich at Primanti Brother's, enjoy authentic Italian coffee at La Prima Espresso, or sign up for a Burgh Bits and Bites food tour.
Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History
Explore one of the first art museums to focus on contemporary art and the famous Pittsburgh dinosaurs all in one space through a joint visit to these connected museums. Located in the heart of University of Pittsburgh's campus, you will find many restaurants and the Cathedral of Learning within walking distance to explore.
Shadyside Neighborhood
The Shadyside neighborhood is a collection of boutiques, shops, galleries, restaurants and historic homes all within one walking stretch. We recommend trying a dessert from Prantl's Bakery or eating lunch at Acorn.
Market Square
Located in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh, Market Square is a hub of restaurants, cafes, and casual eateries. We recommend trying a famous sandwich at Primanti's and then walking to The Point to take in the views.
Point State Park
Located at the confluence of three rivers, Point State Park is noted as Pittsburgh's Golden Triangle. Here you can take in views of Pittsburgh, walk the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, and see the 120 foot fountain that serves as a landmark for the city.

Located in a preserved railroad station, Grand Concourse is an elegant upscale restaurant right on one of Pittsburgh's rivers. Brunch is served buffet style on Sundays.

While there are many locations around the city, you can find a Primanti Bros. just down the road from our hotel recommendations. There you will be able to try the infamous Pittsburgh sandwiches topped with french fries - a favorite of Kristen and Zach's.

This food hall and beer garden offers a unique dining experience where four chefs operate independent kitchens within the space. Located a short walk from many area attractions (PNC Park, North Shore, Andy Warhol Museum, etc) this restaurant is a great way to start a Pittsburgh night.
