Ideally upon receipt of your save the date and/or formal invitation. No later than May 1, 2024. If you know Berkley, she is plan-oriented and would love to have RSVPs earlier than later. If it's more likely than not that you will attend, please RSVP early and know that you can always contact us to redact your RSVP if plans change or something comes up. We totally understand, life happens! That said, It's easier to decrease numbers than it is to increase, so we appreciate the earliest RSVP you can provide.
Please RSVP online at our website. Secondary, please text Nick or Berkley.
4:30-4:45 p.m. MDT. Please allow 15 minutes to park and walk to the ceremony site. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. We recommend allowing 15-30 minutes to travel to the venue. It's helpful to plug in the address from your current location a day prior to plan appropriate travel time.
Cocktail / Black-tie Optional We love to get dressed up and hit the town for drinks and a meal...we love it even more with friends! We encourage you to treat our wedding like a date night. Put on your best clothes and enjoy a night on the dance floor with your date. After all, life is lived in the small moments and we hope small moments at our wedding can become big memories.
Black-tie optional should be interpreted as our dress code is formally cocktail attire and if you desire to wear blacktie clothing, you are welcome to. Cocktail attire for men is defined as dress pants, dress shoes, and a collared shirt. For cocktail attire, a tie, bowtie, and/or vest are optional. Black tie attire for men is defined as dress pants, dress shoes, a collared shirt, a suit jacket, and a tie or bowtie. Cocktail attire for women is a cocktail dress, formal jumpsuit, or pantsuit and dress shoes. Black tie attire for women is a gown and dress shoes.
Uber - If you plan to consume alcohol, we encourage Ubering to and from the venue. Drive - Parking is plentiful and free. Bus - Missoula has a well-established bus line that is free and there is a bus stop one block from the wedding venue.
The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. Should it rain, we will move the ceremony indoors. The reception will be indoors.
Daily high temperatures will be around 70°F, rarely falling below 58°F or exceeding 91°F. Historically, the likelihood of precipitation on our wedding day is 25%. June in Missoula is unpredictable but more often than not, the last two weeks in June are the most beautiful time of year in our beloved town. Which is why we picked June 22nd as the date of our wedding. The mountainside will be glowing green, the wildflowers will be erupting (balsamroot, lupine, Indian paintbrush, bitterroot), the days will be long and sunny, and the heat of summer will be in its infancy. In late June we are typically wearing shorts and tank tops with a sweatshirt in the morning and evening, the river is typically warm enough for swimming, and rainstorms infrequent enough we are biking everywhere. That said, sometimes in June, the rainclouds stay longer than in prior years and it could be gloomy and rainy.
With the exception of our nieces and nephews, we request a child-free wedding. We ask that after 9:00 p.m. the event is child-free. We love your children!! If you're invited to our wedding, it's very likely we have a strong relationship/friendship with your child. We see our wedding as a great opportunity for you and your partner to have a night to yourselves. Did someone say date night?!
We will serve beef-based red sauce and pasta. On your RSVP, there will be a vegetarian and vegan option available.
Yes, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are on us! We invite you to carry cash to contribute to tipping bar staff. We will have bar service available until 9:00 p.m. From there on out, alcohol will be self-serve.
Our life is blessed and abundant. Please do not feel obligated to bless us with a gift. The investment you are making to travel to spend our wedding day with us is an incredible gift. Should you feel the desire to honor us beyond your presence, please view the registry tab of our website and consider contributing to our honeymoon fund or making a donation to one of our favorite non-profits in the name of our late dog, "Penelope Svingen/Zanetos". We are regular patrons or beneficiaries of each non-profit we've selected. https://myhswm.org/donate/ https://missoulafoodbank.org/get-involved/donate https://www.bluemountainclinic.org/donate/ https://www.mtbmissoula.org/join https://www.freecycles.org/donate https://missoulaurbandemonstration.square.site/product/donate-to-mud-/53
