Is transportation provided?

Answer

Yes, we will have complimentary shuttles provided at the Hampton Inn Charlottesville & the Holiday Inn Ruckersville. Please RSVP for the bus on your provided RSVP card. The bus will depart at 3:45 from Charlottesville and 4pm from Ruckersville. The bus will come back to the hotels once around 8:30-9pm and again after the reception ends.

Which hotel should I stay in?

Answer

We have two complimentary hotel blocks. One is the Hampton Inn Charlottesville and the other is at Holiday Inn Ruckersville. Please see the Travel page for direct links to our complimentary hotel block rates.

Question

Is the ceremony / reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are hoping for a beautiful day so we can have the ceremony outside in the Half Moon Garden. The rain plan will be in the Greenhouse. The cocktail hour will also hopefully be outdoors with a secondary rain plan. The reception is held in a tent that we can open or close the walls depending on the weather. Please dress accordingly for the ceremony & cocktail hour.

Are children allowed to attend the wedding/reception?

Answer

While we love your children, we are not allowing any children besides our niece/nephews at our wedding. This is an adult only event. Thanks for your understanding!
